Monday, April 9, 5:30 to 7:00 PM – Polish Your Words Workshop at the Foothill Ranch Library.
Joe De Ladurantey, Megan Haskell, and Greta Boris are teaming up to teach you how to get your work in tip top shape before you send it off to agents, editors, or hit the publish button. We’ll be covering critique groups, beta readers, working with editors, and self-editing techniques.
Thursday, April 12, 1:00 PM – Writing Book Descriptions that Sell with Bryan Cohen.
Learn how to craft a killer hook for your book. Whether you’re pitching or published, this online webinar will teach you how to attract an audience. (We’ll be sending a second email with more details and a link to join the webinar soon.)
Saturday, April 14, 9:00 AM to 12:00 – Writing Productivity for Plotters and Pantsers at the 1888 Center in Orange.
This 3 hour intensive workshop is designed to help you write faster and better. You’ll leave with a week-long calendar mapping out your ideal times to write, a Plot Menu spreadsheet for your work in progress, and a solid set of tried-and-true resources you can use to improve your writing productivity.
